Prof Jeong-Nam Kim, KAIST Chair Professor at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST) have been visited the Department of Media and Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) this week.
The visit was warmly welcomed by COM faculty members, who organized an academic meeting to discuss potential collaborations on undergraduate and postgraduate exchange programs, as well as various research topics. Representatives of the COM faculty included Prof Yi-Hui Christine Huang, Head and Chair Professor, along with Associate Professors Li Crystal Jiang and Edmund Lee.
During his visit, Prof Kim was also given a tour of professional facilities such as the Omnimedia Digital Newsroom, the 3-D Virtual TV Studio, the Advertising Design & Shooting Studio, and the Digital Broadcasting Recording Room. This experience provided him with a deeper understanding of the practical learning environment offered by COM.
