On 16 March 2026, the Department of Media and Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) had the pleasure of hosting an academic meeting with representatives from the School of Journalism and Communication at Nanjing University (NJU). The delegation included Executive Dean and Professor Hongjun Zhang, along with Assistant Professor Xiao Wang.
The discussion focused on strengthening collaboration in media studies, particularly in the areas of technology and artificial intelligence (AI). Both parties also addressed ongoing challenges in academic exchange, as well as research-related issues, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a strong partnership between NJU and CityUHK.
Representatives from the Department of Media and Communication at CityUHK included Head and Chair Professor Yi-Hui Christine Huang, Associate Head and Professor Chris Fei Shen, and Associate Professor Li Crystal Jiang.
