Visit by Professor Shirley Ho from Nanyang Technological University

On 5 March 2026, the Department of Media and Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong warmly welcomed Prof. Shirley Ho, Associate Vice President (Humanities, Social Sciences & Research Communication) and Professor at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, Nanyang Technological University.







During the visit, COM faculty representatives, including Head and Chair Professor Yi-Hui Christine Huang, Chair Professor Shuhua Zhou, and Associate Professor Li Crystal Jiang, shared the latest developments within the department. They also discussed potential collaborations in research and academia.





To gain a deeper understanding of COM, Prof. Ho toured the department's professional teaching facilities, along with Prof. Benjamin Horton, Dean of the School of Energy and Environment and Chair Professor of Earth Science and Prof. Niels O. Schiller, Head of Department of Linguistics and Translation.  They have visited the Omnimedia Digital Newsroom, 3-D Virtual TV Studio, Advertising Design & Shooting Studio, and Digital Broadcasting Control Room.
