CityUHK Research Master’s Scholarship Programmes at the University of Cambridge 2026–27 Now Open for Applications

Are you a final-year undergraduate student planning your next career step? Why not take on an exciting challenge at the University of Cambridge?
The Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies (SGS) is now accepting applications for the CityUHK Research Master’s Scholarship Programmes at the University of Cambridge for the 2026–27 academic year. This initiative offers talented students the opportunity to pursue a one-year Research Master’s degree at Cambridge, serving as a gateway to a 4-year PhD program at CityUHK. The PhD will be undertaken with joint supervision by professors from both institutions.
As part of this prestigious scholarship program, participants will receive a fully funded package worth £65,000. This covers tuition fees, accommodation, living expenses, airfare, visa costs, and health surcharges. Four quotas are available for CityUHK students at Lucy Cavendish College and Newnham College (designated for female students).
To be eligible, applicants should:

Be final-year undergraduates of CityUHK with potential to obtain first-class honours

Achieve IELTS 7.0 overall with no component below 7.0

Note that priority is given to Hong Kong-born permanent residents
