COM Elite Fencer Lau Yee Ching Secures Third Place at LCSD Open Fencing Championship

Lau Yee Ching (Chloe), a Year 3 BATVB student from the Department of Media and Communication (COM) under the Student-Athlete Learning Support and Admission (SALSA) Scheme, achieved an impressive third place in the women’s sabre event at the LCSD Open Fencing Championship last Sunday. This marks her fourth consecutive award in local competitions, showcasing her remarkable consistency and talent.

In addition, Chloe has been selected as a representative of the Hong Kong China Fencing Team for the upcoming National Games 2025 this November. Her outstanding performance is expected to greatly inspire confidence for the Women’s Sabre Team Event.
