COM Research Seminar: Preference falsification in post-NSL Hong Kong

Dr. Tetsuro Kobayashi presented his recent study "Preference falsification in post-NSL Hong Kong", at the department's Research Seminar on 26 September 2022. He shared two studies that aim to detect and quantify the extent of preference falsification. The first study used a two-wave online panel survey fielded before and after the enactment of NSL, and the second study consisted of five list experiments. Many faculty and students joined this seminar, the first offline-only seminar in the department since the pandemic.
