COM’s Head and Associate Head discussed collaborations with Facebook director in Hong Kong

To further expand COM’s connection with local industry partners, Prof. Yu-li Liu, Head of the Department and Dr. Shen Fei, the Associate Head visited Facebook Office in Hong Kong on September 9, 2021. Prof. Liu and Dr. Shen discussed potential collaborations with George Chen, Director of Public Policy, Greater China, Mongolia, and Central Asia. During the visit, Ms. Maggie Tam, Public Policy Manager, Hong Kong introduced the Facebook Blueprint program and suggested the possibility of incorporating Blueprint courses into COM’s course system. After the visit, Prof. Liu invited Mr. Chen and Ms Tam to visit CityU and COM’s 3D virtual studio and to discuss the collaborations in detail.
