Strengthening Regional Ties Through Digital Transformation
On behalf of CityUHK, Prof. Wen Jung LI, participated in the Greater Bay Area-ASEAN Economic Cooperation (Qianhai) Forum, where he contributed to discussions exploring collaborative opportunities in digital transformation. The forum highlighted how the Greater Bay Area's strengths in technology, capital, and talent can be effectively leveraged to meet the needs of ASEAN countries. MoU Signing with CICV: Strengthening Industry-Academia Collaboration in Intelligent Vehicles
Spearheaded by Prof. Jianping WANG, Dean of the College of Computing, VPTI recently signed a MoU with the National Innovation Center for Intelligent and Connected Vehicles (CICV: 国家智能网联汽车创新中心) during the "Intelligent Connected New Energy Vehicle Industry Talent-Matching Conference" in Chongqing, China. This partnership will facilitate collaboration between CICV and CityUHK in several key areas, including the provision of international student internships and specialized talent-training programs tailored for the Intelligent and Connected Vehicles industry. By bridging academia and industry, this strategic alliance aims to equip the next generation of international professionals with the skills necessary to drive innovation in the rapidly evolving field of intelligent vehicles.
