CityUHK Explores Collaboration Actively with Almaty Management University (AlmaU)
City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) warmly welcomed a delegation from Almaty Management University (AlmaU), which was led by Dr. Sholpan Tazabek, Vice-Rector for Global Partnerships, together with Ms. Assel Aryn, Vice-Rector for Academic Development, and Ms. Aigul Sarenova, Director of the “Tolyq Adam” Institute. Professor Omar Matar Visits CityUHK as Distinguished Visiting Professor
Professor Omar Matar, Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London, and our Distinguished Visiting Professor (DVP) visited CityUHK. During his visit, Professor Matar delivered an insightful seminar entitled “Numerical Simulations of Miscible and Immiscible Two-Phase Flows,” sharing his latest research advancements and perspectives with faculty members and students. In addition, Professor Matar also met with CityUHK senior management and engaged in productive discussions that fostered meaningful academic exchange. His visit strengthened mutual understanding and laid a solid foundation for deeper collaboration between CityUHK and Imperial College London.
