Consul General of Japan in Hong Kong visits CityU

The Consulate General of Japan in Hong Kong, led by Mr. OKADA Kenichi, Consul General of Japan in Hong Kong, along with his team, paid a visit to CityU. This visit was met with a warm welcome from the President of City University of Hong Kong, Freddy Boey. It highlights the potential for further active agreements between CityU and partner institutions in Japan. During the meeting, the ceremonial Japanese tea was served to promote a deeper understanding and appreciation of Japanese traditions.

A 5-day visit of Satbayev University, Kazakhstan, aimed at forging strategic collaboration through a newly signed agreement

The delegation from Kazakhstan, led by Prof. Aizhan Kassymova, Deputy Director of the Institute of Automation and Information Technologies, was warmly greeted and received by Prof. Wen-Jung Li, along with members of CityU. The aims of the visit were to enhance the existing student exchange programs and create new avenues for academic cooperation between Satbayev University and CityU.

Visit of the President of University of Chester, UK

The Vice Chancellor and Principal at the University of Chester, Prof. Eunice Simmons, met with Prof. Wen-Jung Li, Vice-President (Talent and International Strategy) of City University of Hong Kong.
