A 5-day visit of Satbayev University, Kazakhstan, aimed at forging strategic collaboration through a newly signed agreement
The delegation from Kazakhstan, led by Prof. Aizhan Kassymova, Deputy Director of the Institute of Automation and Information Technologies, was warmly greeted and received by Prof. Wen-Jung Li, along with members of CityU. The aims of the visit were to enhance the existing student exchange programs and create new avenues for academic cooperation between Satbayev University and CityU.
Visit of the President of University of Chester, UK
The Vice Chancellor and Principal at the University of Chester, Prof. Eunice Simmons, met with Prof. Wen-Jung Li, Vice-President (Talent and International Strategy) of City University of Hong Kong.
Visit to Imperial College London, UK
The CityU delegation, led by the President of City University of Hong Kong, Freddy Boey, embarked on a visit to Imperial College London, UK. Prof. Ian Walmsley, Provost of Imperial College London, met with them. The aim of the visit was to deepen and strengthen the learning, student exchange, and research ties between the two universities.
