CityUHK Delegation Visits Hungary to Foster Academic Partnerships
The President of City University of Hong Kong, Freddy Boey, led the CityUHK delegation in a successful visit to Hungary, engaging with the Ministry of Culture and Innovation and three esteemed universities: Széchenyi István University (Györ), Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), and Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE). This visit aimed to strengthen academic ties, explore collaborative opportunities, and enhance international cooperation in research and education. The delegation's interactions highlighted the commitment to fostering relationships that support knowledge exchange and innovation across institutions.
CityUHK Hosts Delegation from KU Leuven to Strengthen Collaboration
Prof. Wen Jung Li and Prof. Steven Wang warmly welcomed the delegation from KU Leuven, Belgium, to discuss ongoing collaboration following the signing of a MoU by the President of City University of Hong Kong, Freddy Boey in August 2024. The meeting focused on enhancing partnerships between CityUHK and KU Leuven. Furthermore, Prof. Bart Vanrumste, a researcher specializing in Machine Learning in Health Care at KU Leuven, delivered an insightful seminar titled “Time-series Analysis of Lower-Limb Movement in Older People with Parkinson's Disease and Increased Fall Risk.” This event was attended by staff and students at CityUHK, further enriching the academic exchange between the two institutions.
