Visit of POSTECH Delegation to CityUHK
A delegation from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), South Korea, visited City University of Hong Kong, led by Prof. Hee-Kap Ahn, Vice President of Planning, and Prof. Jong-Bong Lee, Vice President of Academic Affairs. They were warmly welcomed by Prof. Jennifer Lin, Associate Vice-President (Global Strategy), and Prof. Thomas Ng, Associate Vice-President (Campus Development, Facilities and Sustainability) and Mr. Carl Tang, Associate Director of GEO. The visit featured an insightful tour of our campus, creating an excellent opportunity for engaging discussions about potential collaborations between our institutions.
Visit of the Shanxi Delegation to CityUHK
The Shanxi delegation's visit to City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) was marked by warm hospitality from Mr. Rex Wong, member of the CityUHK Council, Prof. Wen-Jung Li (OVPTI), Prof. Jennifer Lin (OVPTI) and Ms. Candy Chouk (CXO). The delegation toured the Indra and Harry Banga Gallery at CityUHK. After the tour, they had a meeting and engaged in fruitful discussions aimed at exploring potential cultural collaborations between CityUHK and Shanxi. The delegation had the opportunity to investigate deeper into Shanxi's rich cultural heritage and envision cooperative projects that could enhance cultural exchange.
CityUHK's Participation in MoU Signing at UNiTED, Taiwan
Prof. Wen Jung LI and Prof. Jennifer LIN, on behalf of CityUHK participated in a MoU signing ceremony and meeting in Taiwan during the University Alliance in Talent Education Development (UNiTED) event. This partnership aims to enhance industry-university collaboration, facilitating knowledge transfer and promoting innovative programs that contribute to global sustainability. The shared vision of UNiTED is to be a leading global alliance for developing future-ready talents through strong society-university empowerment. The signing of this MoU highlights CityUHK's commitment to fostering international partnerships and enriching educational opportunities, paving the way for future cooperation across various academic and research fields.
