The University’s health experts advise staff and students planning to travel abroad during the coming semester break to pay attention to travel tips on the prevention of avian flu.

The distinguished film maker Mr Zhang Yimou will receive an Honorary Doctor of Letters at CityU's 2005 Congregation, to be held from 8 to 11 and 15 to 16 November. Honorary doctorates will also be conferred on three other distinguished individuals.
