CityU received a donation from the Hong Kong and Macau Taiwanese Charity Fund to establish a bursary for full-time undergraduate students to fulfil their dream of finishing university.
The Council approved the new five-year strategic plan of CityU, entitled “Excellence in Research and Professional Education”, at its meeting on 26 November 2009.

The Department of Public and Social Administration at CityU organised an International Peer Review Conference on “China’s Provincial Environmental Performance Index” from 18 - 19 May to discuss the development of an environmental performance index in China
