CityU will make arrangements for students of Cornell University to study at CityU.
CityU welcomes visiting students
In view of the latest development of the pandemic, CityU provides opportunity for students who are adversely affected to continue their studies and/or research projects at CityU as visiting students. The deadline of the application for the scheme for Semester A 2020-21 has been extended to 3 August 2020.

 CityU to bestow honorary fellowships on three distinguished persons
Three distinguished persons will be bestowed honorary fellowships by CityU in recognition of their significant contributions to the development of, and service to, the University and the community. They are Ms Jenny Chan Pik-ha, Mr Lau Tat-chuen, and Dr Jennifer Ng Chui-yiu, JP.
A delegation of 23 Sham Shui Po District Council members and representatives from the District Office of the Home Affairs Department, HKSAR, visited CityU on 26 February.
A delegation of Consuls-General representing Australia, Belgium, Korea, Russia and Turkey paid a visit to CityU on 25 February and were greeted by Professor H K Chang, President, and other faculty members .
Founded in 1984, CityU turns 20 this year. "If a centenary marks the first cycle of a university's development, CityU is still on its way. We have fared well thus far, with tremendous achievements in our first 20 years," said Professor H K Chang, President, at the Staff New Year Party on 28 January, kicking off the 20th anniversary year. 2004 is a time to look back and rejoice in our achievements, and to look forward to the future with a new role statement.
The School of Continuing and Professional Education (SCOPE) and the Faculty of Business participated in the Education and Careers Expo, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 19 to 22 February. The Expo showcased a wide range of CityU's continuing education and business Master's degree programmes to meet the market's growing demands.
CityU won a Green Office Award in the 2003 Hong Kong Eco-Business Awards, an annual event organized by the Environmental Campaign Committee, HKSAR, to recognize organizations with substantial achievements in environmental management.
