To ensure you have joined the CityUHK "Grammarly for Education" service,

1.	Log in to CityUHK My Apps Dashboard
2.	Click the Grammarly icon (if it is not shown, type "Grammarly" in the top search field), then land on the Grammarly Dashboard

If no Grammarly icon is shown on the My Apps page, please register for the CityUHK Grammarly account via the Service Portal again.

For technical problems with account registration, please contact the IT Service Desk.

The Grammarly desktop app for Windows / macOS can work with Microsoft Office 2016 and newer on Windows 10 and 11 / macOS. It is available in the floating Grammarly widget that appears next to the text fields you are writing in.

If you have joined the CityUHK "Grammarly for Education" service but cannot use the features for Education,

1.	Open the "Settings" in the app Windows: Open the Grammarly app, click on the Settings / macOS: Click the ("G" icon) from the top macOS menu bar, then click Settings
2.	In the Settings pop-up, click the Account tab
3.	Check whether the display email address follows, and the Subscription "EDU" is shown. student: EID-c@my.cityu.edu.hk staff: EID@cityu.edu.hk

If the display email address is not your CityUHK EID email address, please log out and then log in by inputting your CityUHK EID email address.

Yes, annual account renewal for student users is required.

One month before your CityUHK Grammarly account expires, you will receive an email with the subject [Renewal Reminder] Grammarly Account Expiring in 1 Month from the IT Service Desk.

1.	Click the Grammarly Account Request form link on the reminder email
2.	Input your CityUHK Electronic ID / Password, then click the Sign In button
3.	Make sure Renewal is shown under Request type, then click the Submit button
4.	Look for the following message on the next page, and you will receive an email with title "[Request Completed] Grammarly Account is Ready to Use"

You can "A. Uninstall" / "B. Disable" the Grammarly browser extension after clicking ("puzzle piece" icon) from top right of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge.
