CityUHK embraces cultural diversity and celebrates Central Asian Festival
The Blossoms of Spring: Central Asian Cultural Festival was held at CityUHK on 15 March to celebrate the diverse, culturally rich artistic traditions of Central Asia in the month of Nauryz through a variety of events.
Guang Embroidery showcases the beauty of integrating Eastern and Western cultures
An exhibition titled “East Meets West – Past and Present of Shunde’s Guang Embroidery” was held at CityU from 12 to 17 September. The aim of the exhibition was to introduce the inheritance and development of Guang Embroidery and showcase its diverse cultural connotations.
‘Comic Strip’ exhibition highlights European history and culture
Major events in European history and an appreciation of comic art from a cultural and historical perspective feature at a new exhibition at CityU. Co-organised by Cultural Exchange Oasis and the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, the “Europe in a Comic Strip” exhibition will run from 5 May to 16 June.
