CityU conferred honorary doctorates on five distinguished persons in recognition of their significant contributions to education and the well-being of society.

 CityU stalwarts honoured in 2020 Honours List
Seven members of the CityU community have been named on the 2020 Honours List.
CityU has successfully completed its admission exercise on the mainland this year, with the number of students recruited exceeding targets. Both the quality and quantity of candidates are outstandingly high.
A series of Science and Engineering Fun Days, organized by the Faculty of Science and Engineering, kicked off on 25 July on campus with laboratory sessions, campus/laboratory tours and talks.
The CityU Press launched 71 titles at the 16th Hong Kong's Book Fair to be held from 20 to 25 July. Eight new books have been made debuts at the Book Fair for university students and the youth.
