Admission Information of CLASS Undergraduate Programmes Available on Virtual Information Day

The seven departments of CLASS organised an array of activities for prospective students during CityU’s Virtual Information Day held on 24 October 2020.

By participating in live admission consultation sessions conducted via Zoom, students took home with a wealth of information, from entry requirements, curriculum, career prospect, to internship and internationalisation opportunities. They interacted with our faculty members using the chatroom function and get their questions answered in real-time. Programme videos and brochures, which highlight key features and strengths of various programmes, were also made available for viewing anywhere and anytime.

In addition to programme information, the departments provided students with a glimpse of the study life and learning experience at CityU, either by arranging live students/alumni sharing sessions, or presenting sharing videos and samples of student projects online.

As well, the College took the chance to introduce the new double degree programmes in public policy and law, and in criminology and law, to be launched jointly with the School of Law. In this well-received live consultation session, programme leaders shared with the audience the admission requirements, structure and career prospects of the two programmes, which seek to enhance the interdisciplinary understanding of fields of studies that are highly relevant.

The Chan Feng Men-ling Chan Shuk-lin Language Centre, a student support unit under CLASS, also presented its English, European and Asian language courses and services supporting independent language study through a video.

Those who have missed the Virtual Information Day may visit the event website to download the brochures and videos, and watch the recorded videos of the live sessions from now till December.
