CityU President Professor Way Kuo delivered a keynote speech at Peking University and the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center in China on 16 and 17 March, respectively.
CityU President signed a student exchange agreement with Peking University and led a delegation to visit Tsinghua University on 16 March.
In a speech in Taiwan, Professor Way Kuo encouraged students to engage in objective discussions and look for suitable learning environment when applying for universities.
Speaking to more than 120 veterinary professionals at an annual dinner of the Peace Avenue Veterinary Clinic, Professor Way Kuo, CityU President, discussed the importance to Hong Kong of a new veterinary school.
More than 20 CityU faculty, staff and students took a tour on the visiting floating university, MV Explorer, to gain a first-hand experience of on-board education, on 23 February.
"Successful communication depends more upon content and sincerity than language itself," said Professor Way Kuo, University President, addressing secondary students and their teachers at a Distinguished Lecture organised by The Jockey Club Eduyoung College.
