CAH students won the Bronze Prize of the 2016 HK4As Students’ Award

香港城市大學中文及歷史學系四年級學生馬藝嘉、王芷甯、陳穎怡、吳雨桐,合力製作的投稿作品《萬能藥:美麗新世界》,被香港廣告商會(The Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of Hong Kong) 評為2016年香港廣告商會學生大獎銅獎。

Full Heal: The Beautiful New World, a commercial co-produced by four students from the Department of Chinese and History, clinched a Bronze Prize of the 2016 HK4As Students’ Award, organised by The Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of Hong Kong (HK4As).

Under the guidance and assistance of Mr KWOK Kam-hung, the course instructor of “Chinese for Advertising”, MA Ngai-ka, WONG Tsz-ning Lucia, CHAN Wing-yi and WU Yutong restyled their assignment as a competition entry. In addition to combining ‘romanticism’ with ‘imagery’, the team employed rhetoric techniques such as ‘sarcasm’ in their submission. The team won the Bronze Prize, and was one of the 200 teams from local tertiary institutes.

First launched in 1990, the HK4As Students’ Award is an annual public competition presented by HK4As, which aims to encourage and nurture the young talents of Hong Kong. Students are inspired to fully realise their potential and creativity, and through bringing new ideas and elements to Hong Kong’s advertising industry, help to bring Hong Kong’s commercials to the international stage.

We congratulate the team and hope they will continue to be creative and strive for excellence!
