The deadline for entry submission for City Literary Awards 2020 is moved to 30 September 2020, allowing enthusiastic poets, novelists and prose writers more time to craft their pieces.

The competition is organised by the Department of Chinese and History of the City University of Hong Kong, with the support of Tin Ka Ping Foundation and Mr Zhang Da Peng, to enhance Chinese creative writing standard of the younger generation. A series of talks and workshops was conducted by local writers earlier to introduce students to essential writing skills.
