Speaking to more than 120 veterinary professionals at an annual dinner of the Peace Avenue Veterinary Clinic, Professor Way Kuo, CityU President, discussed the importance to Hong Kong of a new veterinary school.
More than 20 CityU faculty, staff and students took a tour on the visiting floating university, MV Explorer, to gain a first-hand experience of on-board education, on 23 February.
"Successful communication depends more upon content and sincerity than language itself," said Professor Way Kuo, University President, addressing secondary students and their teachers at a Distinguished Lecture organised by The Jockey Club Eduyoung College.
Hong Kong must strengthen ties with its neighbours if it wants to pursue internationalization in education and become the regional hub of higher education, said Professor H K Chang, University President.
Mr Lam Kwong-yu, the Founding Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Starlite Holdings Ltd, visited CityU and told his success story at the CEO Forum organized by the EMBA programme of CityU's Faculty of Business on 17 August.
