CityU’s first batch of Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine graduates are registered as Veterinary Surgeons
The first Graduation Gala of CityU's BVM was held on 28 October. With the recent attainment of direct accreditation from both the RCVS and the AVBC, all 11 BVM graduates of the leading cohort completed registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Hong Kong and obtained their license to practise as veterinary surgeons.
CityU students de-stress with “Professor Paws”
Earlier this month, a team of volunteers from Animals Asia took their dogs to CityU to meet with students, as “Professor Paws”.
CityU's School of Creative Media students produced a new 3D animation series, titled "Gee-Dor-Dor", for the Independent Commission Against Corruption, to promote positive values among children.
The "Writing Machine Collective" from 17 July to 7 August 2004 in 1a Space, Cattle Depot Artist Village, To Kwa Wan, Kowloon, showcases the works of new media artists from CityU's School of Creative Media.
Basketball players from twelve secondary schools took part in an Inter-School Basketball Invitation Tournament, 24 July, organized by CityU's Student Development Services (SDS) as one of the sports events held in celebration of the University's 20th anniversary.

From 2 to 12 July 2004 at CityU, "Medialogue: 7.04cm" features over 60 multimedia works by School of Creative Media graduates. An extension of the Show, "Medialogue PLUS @ Club X", jointly organized with LCX and Club X, takes place 16 July to 1 August, at Club X –LCX, Level 3, Ocean Terminal, Harbour City, Kowloon.
