Objective marketing analyses, creative minds and an eagerness to learn earned CityU's marketing students high praise for their consultancy projects. Projects were undertaken for five leading commercial firms, namely Sino Group, Ming Pao Magazine Ltd, TCL Retail (HK) Ltd, Dah Chong Hong Ltd and Hang Fung Gold Technology Group.
Last month, 22 outstanding foreign language students were awarded scholarships and sponsorships at ceremonies organized by CityU's Division of Language Studies (LS). At the French Awards Presentation Ceremony held on 16 May, 12 French programme students were recognized for their outstanding academic studies.

The placements, for year-two students from three faculties, represent a significant increase over last year's 240 placements in 64 companies. Standard Chartered Bank, Sogo Hong Kong Co. Ltd and Maunsell Consultants Asia Ltd are among the new companies involved in the programme.
