The grand finale of the CityUHK Student ArtFest 2025, New Sounds of Cantonese Opera, featured a collaboration between the CityUHK Chinese Orchestra and CityUHK Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine student and Cantonese opera performer Yemina Yu Chung-yan. Together, they offered a fresh interpretation of Cantonese music, showcasing the younger generation’s dedication to preserving and innovating traditional arts.

Animals have always been considered good friends of humans. Since 2015, the Student Development Office of CityUHK has co-organised the "Professor Paws Therapy Dog Programme" with Animals Asia, allowing students to take a brief break to interact with the beloved "Professor Paws", providing a much-needed opportunity for students to slow down and relieve stress amidst their busy academic lives.

CityUHK and Uruguay’s Universidad de la República recently signed a MoU, marking the beginning of a multi-faceted academic partnership.
