Professor the Honourable Michael Ngai, Chairman of the Council of CityUHK, led a delegation to Nanjing and Yangzhou in Jiangsu Province. The delegation met government departments, higher education institutions and industry representatives to explore research commercialisation and financing for innovation and technology projects, and to deepen collaboration between Jiangsu and Hong Kong in education, technology and talent development.

A campus-wide initiative is bringing together rooftop farming, campus dining, food waste recycling and compost reuse to create a circular food system that transforms the way food is grown, consumed and regenerated. The initiative improves resource efficiency while embedding sustainable practices into everyday campus life.
