SEP 2022
More than 1,200 student-athletes have been admitted through the Student Athletes Admission Scheme since it was set up in early 1997. At the start of the 2022/23 academic year, seven more student-athletes are admitted to unleash their potential in both academic and athletic fields.

The full-time employment rate for graduates from CityU hit 96.6% in 2021, the highest among the eight publicly funded universities, according to the latest graduate employment data released by the University Grants Committee (UGC).

Student Achievement
Four students from City University of Hong Kong (CityU) won the Innovation and Technology Scholarship 2021, receiving HK$150,000 each for overseas exchange, local internship, and mentorship programmes.

Once again President Way Kuo of CityU has led a team of around 240 athletes in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon, which was held on 24 October, exemplifying CityU’s spirit of excellence in both academics and sports.

Congratulations to our CityU alumna Ms Grace Lau Mo-sheung on winning the Bronze medal for Hong Kong in the Karate Women’s Kata at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
