Quality Assurance for Student Development Activities/Programmes
OVPSA has introduced the quality assurance practice (QA) for Student Development Activities/Programmes since 2019, aiming to ensure the delivery of quality student development activities/programmes organised by OVPSA and its line offices that best suit the benefits of CityU students.

Regular reviews are conducted to ensure the programme quality in terms of the programme administration, assessment, evaluation, and effectiveness for all student development activities/events/programmes organised by OVPSA and its line offices. A systematic assessment process has been developed to assess whether the organised activities/programmes can successfully achieve the Programme Intended Learning Outcomes (PILOs) and address their respective Graduate Attributes.

An online central repository, namely OVPSA Quality Assurance (Student Development) e-Platform, has been developed and launched in August 2020 for streamlining different administrative procedures and data analytics. Programme details, financial planning, assessment data/results, and reports of all student development activities/programmes will be archived in this repository.

The ultimate goal of the quality assurance for student development activities/programmes is to close the loop of the quality assurance process by disseminating quality assurance results and making recommendations for continuous improvement and strategic planning for future activities/programmes.
