Mr. Radovanovic Vojin, a 2025 graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Computing Mathematics programme at the Department of Mathematics, has been awarded the College Medal 2025.

Vojin graduated summa cum laude, achieving an outstanding academic record and ranking first in his cohort. He completed a prestigious Joint Bachelor’s Degree Programme between City University of Hong Kong and the University of Edinburgh, earning First Class Honours in Applied Mathematics from Edinburgh.

Throughout his studies, Vojin consistently demonstrated academic excellence. He was named to the Dean’s List for four consecutive semesters at CityUHK and received the Arthur Erdelyi Prize for distinguished performance in Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh.

In recognition of his exceptional achievements, Vojin was the recipient of numerous prestigious scholarships and awards, including the CityUHK International Student Scholarship (2022 to 2025), CityUHK Scholarship (2023 and 2025), Dr. Herman Hu Scholarship for Joint Degree Programmes (2024), and the Diversity Grant (2022 and 2023).

Beyond academics, Vojin made remarkable contributions to campus life and the wider community. He actively promoted cultural integration through initiatives such as CityUHK & Me, participated as a non-local student representative on the UniBuddy platform, and shared valuable insights with prospective students. While studying in Edinburgh, he served as the Students’ Association elected office bearer and as the President of the Yugo Society in 2024/25. His efforts reflect a strong commitment to fostering inclusivity and cross-cultural understanding.

Further underscoring his excellence, Vojin was awarded the CityUHK-Lucy Cavendish College Scholarship and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the University of Cambridge.

The College of Science Medal is awarded annually to a full-time final-year undergraduate student in recognition of his/her distinguished academic performance and well-rounded personal qualities. The Medal selection panel was deeply impressed by Vojin’s exceptional academic record, leadership, and positive attitude towards adapting to life in Hong Kong. He was unanimously recommended as the recipient of the 2025 College Medal. There is no doubt that Vojin is an outstanding ambassador for our College and the University as a whole.
