Fees and Payment Methods for Student Services

Fees Chargeable

The following fees payment is required when you submit applications for:

  • HK$60/copy for each programme (paper form application)
  • Additional postal fee of HK$15.5/recipient if registered mail is required

  • HK$40/copy for each programme (online application)
  • HK$60/copy for each programme (paper form application)
  • Additional postal fee of HK$15.5/recipient if registered mail is required
Certified True Copy of Academic Documents HK$40/copy
Testimonial HK$60/copy
Credit Transfer HK$140/application
Programme Transfer HK$100/application
Replacement of Student Identity Card HK$100
Replacement of Award Certificate HK$500 (including postage by registered mail)
Delivery of Award Certificate by Registered Mail
  • HK$50 (local address) 
  • HK$100 (mainland address)
  • HK$120 (overseas address)

Payment Methods

Please pay by one of the following methods:

  1. direct deposit at any branch of the Hang Seng Bank (CityU current account number: 293-318028-003); or 
  2. electronic transfer to the above CityU account at any Hang Seng Bank ATM machine; or 
  3. credit card (Visa, MasterCard or UnionPay) or EPS at the SGS Service Counter; or 
  4. a bank draft in Hong Kong dollars payable to "City University of Hong Kong" (for overseas applicants).

For fees settled by (a) or (b) above, please attach the original receipt to the application form as proof of payment.

For online application for academic transcripts or certification letters, applicants will be required to settle the payment with a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) through the web.
