MPhil/PhD students are required to fulfill the stipulated core courses, research methodology and ethics course and electives requirements.

Students have to take one elective course offered by CAH which are delivered in English.

In order to promote interdisciplinary research, enhance multiple methods and broaden scholarly knowledge, research degree students can choose to take postgraduate courses offered by other academic units including other academic departments of CLASS, SCM, SLW and CB at CityU, subject to the approval by their supervisor and the course offering department.
