* Students not enrolled in BMS8002 Seminars on Biomedical Sciences 1 or BMS8003 Seminars on Biomedical Sciences 2 are required to take BMS8102 or BMS8103 as core courses instead. For students completed BMS8002 and/or BMS8003 as core course(s) before Semester B 2016/2017, they may take BMS8102 and/or BMS8103 as electives.
** Electives will be offered subject to sufficient enrolment.
# The number of credit units of BMS8103 is changed from 2 to 3 effective from Semester A 2020/2021. It is not applicable to students who took the course in Semester A 2019/2020 or before.
^ For PhD students admitted in 2019 cohort, the core course requirement is 10 credits and the electives requirement is 2 credits; for PhD students admitted in 2018 cohort or before, the core course requirement is 6 credits and the electives requirement is 8 credits.
