The Doctor of Philosophy Programme in Information Systems develops scholars who can draw on the concepts and methods of information technology and organizational behavior in conducting research on complex issues arising from the design, application and management of information systems in organizations. Particular emphasis is placed on the links between theory and practice and upon the practical application of innovative information systems methods and techniques to business and organizational problems for firms operating within a global business environment. The research methodologies employed range from behavioral methods (both qualitative and quantitative), technical modelling to econometrics.
