The French and Spanish Section of the Division of Language Studies is Hong Kong's first officially approved centre to hold examinations for the Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language.

CityU's College of Higher Vocational Studies signed a collaborative agreement with Coventry University in the UK on 9 February to launch a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business Information Technology.
