Ms Grace Lau Mo-sheung, an alumna of CityU, returned to her alma mater on 19 August to attend a celebratory gathering after winning the Bronze medal for Hong Kong in the Karate Women’s Kata in the Tokyo Olympics.
CityU alumna Ms Grace Lau Mo-sheung, a female karate specialist, will compete in the Karate Women’s Kata in the Tokyo Olympics at 9am (HKT) on 5 Aug (Thursday), vying for a gold medal for Hong Kong. President Way Kuo will join the teachers, students and alumni to watch the live broadcast on the CityU campus and cheer together for Grace.
CityU has recorded its biggest ever haul of medals at the Hong Kong Independent Short Film and Video Awards. Nine graduates and students from SCM took home eight prizes.
