A leading member of the professional community has been appointed by the Chief Executive of Hong Kong to the CityU Council with effect from 26 January 2012 to 31 December 2014.
The City University of Hong Kong (Amendment) Bill modifying the composition of the Council of CityU was passed by the Legislative Council on 14 June 2007.
