The Court, the supreme advisory body of City University of Hong Kong (CityU), held its third meeting on 8 December, focusing on progress in priority areas identified last year by the Council.
The Council approved the new five-year strategic plan of CityU, entitled “Excellence in Research and Professional Education”, at its meeting on 26 November 2009.
Staff members, students and alumni from CityU and its friends and partners converged at the InterContinental Hong Kong on 29 April to bid farewell to Professor H K Chang, the outgoing President.
The Council of City University of Hong Kong has appointed Professor Richard Ho Yan-ki as Acting President of the University with effect from 1 May, 2007.
