CityU will confer honorary doctoral degrees on three distinguished leaders in recognition of their significant contributions to education and the well-being of society.
CityU is holding its 2005 Congregation from 8 to 11 and 15 to 16 November. This year, through its provision of quality professional education, CityU has nurtured 5,296 graduates.
The distinguished film maker Mr Zhang Yimou will receive an Honorary Doctor of Letters at CityU's 2005 Congregation, to be held from 8 to 11 and 15 to 16 November. Honorary doctorates will also be conferred on three other distinguished individuals.
