Two outstanding members of the business and professional communities have been appointed to the CityU Council.
CityU is holding its 2005 Congregation from 8 to 11 and 15 to 16 November. This year, through its provision of quality professional education, CityU has nurtured 5,296 graduates.
The distinguished film maker Mr Zhang Yimou will receive an Honorary Doctor of Letters at CityU's 2005 Congregation, to be held from 8 to 11 and 15 to 16 November. Honorary doctorates will also be conferred on three other distinguished individuals.
