CityU has successfully completed its admission exercise on the mainland this year, with the number of students recruited exceeding targets. Both the quality and quantity of candidates are outstandingly high.
CityU is one of the first local institutions to participate in the National Joint Entrance Examination Scheme. Many outstanding high-school graduates from Beijing, Tianjin, Guangdong, Guangxi, Shanghai and Jiangsu have already been recruited.
Two academic staff members of CityU, Professor Gerry McCoy and Dr Joseph Kwok, are on this year's HKSAR Chief Executive Honours List in recognition of their valuable contributions to Hong Kong and dedicated community service.
Coordinated by the Ministry of Justice and the Department of Justice, the School of Law will collaborate with three mainland universities to launch an Adavanced Training Programme for the National Judicial Examination.
A delegation from CityU's School of Law visited Nanjing University, 23-25 June. The visit culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation, academic and student exchange agreements, and agency agreements for the LLM and JSD programmes.
