Five students from the School of Creative Media have won awards in the Single-Screen-Based Interactive Media Category and Animation Category at the 13th Hong Kong Independent Short Film and Video Awards.
Wong Wai-nap, a second year student from CityU’s School of Creative Media co-produced the film Distance with other 10 students to earn a Special Mention in the Third Fresh Wave Short Film Competition’s student division.
More than 50 staff members and students participated in “Double Beat - Recitation and Singing”, a performance co-organised by Student Development Services of CityU and the CCCU Division of Language Studies on 3 April.
The co-operation between CityU's School of Creative Media (SCM) and China's premier film school moved a step closer to reality, after a delegation of 20 leading Chinese educators in film-making and performing arts from the Beijing Film Academy (BFA) visited CityU 28 February.
