What's the relationship between Chinese calligraphy, seal engraving, and painting? An exhibition of Mr Ou Da-wei's latest works, "Realm of Black and Red: Works of Ou Da Wei" at the CityU Gallery, provides some answers. Organized by the Chinese Civilization Centre, the exhibition runs from 14 March to 31 May.

Some 500 industrialists from more than 200 corporations met with the academics from CityU's Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE) at the Faculty Industrial Day on 21 March to explore collaboration opportunities.
In his usual reflective style, the President, Professor H K Chang, began his monthly chat with Linkage, an update on the impending budgetary turmoil (see Linkage 219 and 220), with an observation steeped in history and irony.
"With ties between Hong Kong and the mainland growing every year, understanding the mainland business world will certainly help our career development, no matter what we do or where we work in the future," said Ms Emily Lui, a third-year student in the Department of Management Sciences.
