Over 300 students, alumni and professors participated in CityU's Joint EMB Annual and MSc (Banking / Finance / Financial Engineering) Spring Dinner on 23 February with the famous banker Mr Peter Wong Tung-shun.
CityU's Faculty of Business (FB) ranks among the top 100 business schools in the world, according to the School of Management of The University of Texas at Dallas. The ranking also shows that the FB stands among the top five business schools within the Asia Pacific region and among the top 15 in the world, outside of North America.
Two City University students have a one-week study tour at the University of Washington to look forward to this summer, thanks to a winning business plan. Ms Rachel Lui and Mr Matthew Chang, students from the Faculty of Business and Faculty of Science and Engineering, respectively, won the Gold Award in the Third HSBC Young IT Entrepreneur Awards on 27 March.
