Two community leaders have been appointed by the Chief Executive of HKSAR to the Council of CityU with effect from 15 April 2013 to 31 December 2015.
Professor Way Kuo and the senior management introduced CityU’s latest developments to recently appointed Council members at a meeting on 9 April.
The 17th Congregation marked a new chapter in the lives of this year's 6,864 graduates. Upon their shoulders rests the future, and CityU's President Professor H K Chang reminded them in his address, "You cannot plot out your life story and anything is possible," he said. "With hard work and determination you can succeed in anything you do and go anywhere you choose. The future is yours."
CityU Banquet, one of the biggest annual functions held by the Students; Union, took place at the University Circle on 8 November. The event was well received, with a record over-subscription for tickets.
