CityU, FudanU launch 5th DBA programme

The fifth batch of students for the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme jointly offered by the College of Business (CB) at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) and the School of Management at Fudan University (FudanU) participated in orientation activities and workshops from 16 to 18 January at CityU.
 
This programme, designed for senior executives of the business sector, aims to meet the demands placed on today’s senior business executives by encouraging students to combine practical experience with modern management concepts. The curriculum draws on the strengths of both universities in the teaching and learning spheres.
 
Professor Lu Xiongwen, Dean of the School of Management at FudanU, and Professor Yan Houmin, Dean of CB at CityU, delivered welcome remarks at the opening ceremony cum welcome dinner.
 
Other guests included Professor Lv Changjiang, Associate Dean and DBA programme leader of FudanU’s School of Management, and from CityU, Professor Horace Ip Ho-shing, Vice-President (Student Affairs), Professor Sunny Lee Wai-kwong, Vice-President (Administration), Professor Paul Lam Kwan-sing, Chief-of-Staff, Dr Hao Gang, Associate Vice-President (Development), and Professor Wei Kwok-kee, Director of CityU’s DBA (international) programme.
 
The new DBA students got to know each other and had a chance to exchange knowledge with the DBA teachers and alumni during the activities held over the three days.
