New Generative AI-Powered AI Research Assistant

We are excited to announce the launch of the AI Research Assistant trial, designed to enhance your research experience and streamline access to information. This innovative tool will be available for use starting from today. The trial access period will last until 31 Jan 2025.

AI Research Assistant

 1.  Key features of AI Research Assistant: 

Semantic search and natural language queries: Users can interact with the system using everyday language, making the search process more intuitive.

AI-powered answers with references to sources used: The tool provides immediate answers based on the top five most relevant sources, with links to the full text and the complete result list.

Search suggestions: The assistant offers suggestions to help users expand their topics and delve deeper into their research. Click “View More Results” button to locate additional resources via CityUHK LibraryFind.

Non-English query support: Users can ask questions and receive answers in multiple non-English languages.

 2.  Accessing AI Research Assistant:

Signed-in users can access AI Research Assistant in the following ways:

  • Direct Access – AI Research Assistant
  • Library Main Page – Click on the AI Research Assistant link located in the CityUHK LibraryFind box.
