Mr. Xue Lichen, final-year student majoring in Energy Science and Engineering, won the Best Futuristic Design Award in the "Design the Future" Automotive Design Competition organized by International Motor Show (HK) Management Limited.
Dr. Edwin Tso, Assistant Professor, will showcase his research work on daytime passive radiative cooling paint in the Virtual Inno Carnival 2020 during 23 – 31 December 2020. Through the carnival, interesting local innovations and research achievements will be showcased.
Dr. Yun Hau Ng, Associate Professor, will deliver a talk entitled “Sunlight-driven Water Splitting for Clean Hydrogen Production” at the Hydrogen Economy Conference (HEC) 2020 jointly organized by Hong Kong Green Strategy Alliance (HKGSA), Hong Kong Environmental Industry Association Limited (HKEnvIA), Hong Kong Association of Energy Service Companies (HAESCO) and Business Environment Council (BEC).

Dr Shauhrat S. Chopra, Assistant Professor, was invited by Hong Kong SDG Hub to be one of the speakers of Virtual Human Library to share his opinion on "Climate Crisis and Sustainable Development", as well as his work towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on 6 November 2020.
Prof. Chak K. Chan, Dean and Chair Professor of Atmospheric Environment, is appointed as a member of the Editorial Advisory Committee of Environmental Science and Technology (an ACS journal) starting 1 January 2021.
Prof. Chak K. Chan, Dean and Chair Professor of Atmospheric Environment, is invited to be the Closing Remarks Speaker at the Royal Society of Chemistry Faraday Discussions on “Air Quality in Megacities”.
