From September to October 2023, 127 volunteers from the Community Engagement Programme (CEP) spent 434.5 hours in 10 community services and served 1,251 beneficiaries.
CEP volunteers devoted more time to in-person services, such as Visiting the Energy Centre and taking photos with the elderly, Global X-perience: Simulation x Service Day, Mid-Autumn Festival Visit - Take care carers, Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance Ambassadors, Food Recycling Tour, Planning a Halloween Carnival for Family, etc.
At the same time, students put a lot of effort into the elderly services through the activity “Making Handicrafts for the Elderly - Mid-Autumn Festival (14 & 15 Sep)”. This service aims to show our care and love to the elderly living in care homes and make lanterns for them.
We are happy that all participants enjoyed and learned so much in the activities!
